I love the contrast in this Tom! but then again, I like the contrast in everything. Ha. The colors are really nice too and its a great shot in terms of the pose of the skateboarder and the timing. The silhouette and the sunlight barely squinting by is definitely my favorite part.

I like the composition. Contrary to the standard technique of putting the negative space in front of the subject, yet it works just fine. Oh, photography with your exceptions to the rules.
Would be cool if it were entirely silhouette, without the glare on the railings, but I still like it a lot.

I am soooo glad you didn't put this in street. :D

Great timing, BTW.

Cool. The contrast is really nice, as is the pose (although you obviously didn't have much control over that other than timing). So gj to you both! :D

Well, since my account is lame and won't allow me to give you an official critique, let me just say this:

Your work is absolutely stunning. I love the angle, lighting, and the contrast. It captures the eye because it is something simple, redefined into a piece of art. Taking the ordinary and making it into something extraordinary takes skill, time, dedication, and patience. Keep up the good work, and your art will take you places someday. :D
